Los Gatos is a wonderful area to live.
Just Southwest of San Jose, Los Gatos is nestled against the Santa Cruz Mountains. Homes in Los Gatos are a blend of quaint older homes and newer homes.
There are 2 things to keep in mind, homes near downtown Los Gatos tend to be more expensive as are the homes
up into the hills, especially if they have views.
Running through Los Gatos from Lexington Reservoir toward San Jose, is the Los Gatos Creek trail. Running along Hwy 17 and cutting right through Vasona park, this trail is one of the most popular in the south bay with hundreds of walkers and bicyclists use it daily.
Los Gatos has one of the most exciting downtowns in the area. Small private businesses line Santa Cruz Ave and on a warm summers afternoon, you will find this area is a magnet for the towns residents as they gather at the book store, coffee shops or just hang out at the town square.
Sundays in the Summer are reserved for the Los Gatos Farmers Market and the free concert in the park.
All in all, Los Gatos is one of the nicest areas to live in the Bay Area.
